ABOUT TRIVIAN INSTITUTE
Trivian Institute is an independent 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit bringing together learning, embodied practice, creative expression, and research.
We explore how people can grow through their relationships—with themselves, one another, the living world, and emerging forms of intelligence.
OUR MISSION
We create learning experiences that help people think for themselves, express their own voices, listen to their bodies, and understand how their choices affect others.
Our work brings contemplative and embodied traditions into conversation with creative education and the possibilities of AI.
OUR VISION
We envision a world where education and technology deepen our capacity to learn, relate, and care for life.
As people and intelligent systems change through interaction, we ask how that change can support greater understanding, meaningful choice, and responsibility to the communities and environments we share.
OUR EDUCATIONAL OUTLOOK
We value learning that welcomes different ways of knowing: careful reasoning, creative exploration, contemplative insight, and lived experience.
Our programs give these perspectives room to meet. Participants can examine an idea, question an assumption, and discover how an insight becomes useful in their lives.
OUR FOUNDER
Trivian Institute was founded by Sarasha Elion, an educator, author, and relational systems architect.
Their work brings together decades of movement and contemplative practice, creative writing, and inquiry into human–AI relationships. The Institute gives that inquiry a public educational home.
OUR WIDER ECOSYSTEM
Trivian Institute is the educational and research home within a wider constellation.
Trivian Technologies develops software and technical applications, including the TRIA SDK.
Trivian Field is a machine-readable site that makes our philosophy accessible to digital minds. Its published material also provides a starting point for public conversation about intelligence, relationship, and participation.
Whether you are exploring a program, planning a collaboration, or supporting educational work, we welcome a conversation.
